Asset Information Systems and Services Manager
Look forward to leading the development of strategic technical direction, utilisation, sustainability and integrity of asset information systems and management, including geospatial and plan-room services. You will also oversee the development, enhancement, implementation, training and support of the asset and business information systems, and manage the provision of services and capabilities that enable effective asset decision making.
You will be the custodian of the Ellipse Works Management and Logistics modules, Fixed Asset and Rolling Stock information systems, GIS and Plan-room systems. You will also manage the Asset Register, and maintain and verify the information systems Asset Management Plan, Works Program, Strategy and Delivery Plan with key stakeholders.
In addition, you will ensure effective utilisation of asset management data and planning information, manage the research and development of new technologies, coordinate the analysis of existing systems to identify process improvements, and act as the key interface between Maintenance and IT.
You enjoy supervising and coaching staff, hold a tertiary qualification in commerce, accounting, economics or engineering, and have demonstrated expertise in accounting, economics, commerce, engineering or information technology.
The ability to develop sustainable information management systems architecture and frameworks is essential, as is experience in the design, development, implementation and support of IT asset information systems, including ERP.
You have high-level conceptual, research, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a firm grasp of asset management, rail infrastructure and operations.
The capacity to build a culture of accountability and performance, as well as strong communication and stakeholder relationship skills, will ensure success.
